The applicant's agent has contacted the Rushcliffe Borough Council planning department with instructions to withdrawn the planning applications for the Old Greyhound.
The plans included the demolition of the 20th Century additions to the Old Greyhound and building a two storey extension in its place. The overall plans for the Old Greyhound itself, creating a Pub/Restaurant, were generally welcomed. However, the inclusion of a ten residential properties, a small car park and access from Abbey Lane was a great concern to local residents.
We appear to be back in a waiting game and this valuable community asset remains closed, as does the car park.
